Times of transition can be a challenge and help is available to find your way. Sometimes we can become tangled up with all that's going on. We lose our grounding and sense of self. At times it can seem like life has tipped upside down and our regular way of navigating things may no longer work. I can support you in finding new ways to get through these changing times.

My work has supported people in transition in the mental health field, recruitment and over 20 years in various roles working with people at end of life, palliative care and on grief journeys.
I am a counsellor, mindfulness/meditation teacher, poet/writer, Therapeutic Touch Recognized Practitioner and Teacher, hospice trainer, workshop facilitator, and consultant.
Sometimes life bunches up on us and we lose clarity and a sense of perspective. Counselling offers you a place to help process thoughts and feelings in a safe space. I offer a compassionate presence and deep listening as well as tools and resources to help connect you with meaningful change.
We carry layers of loss as we move through life. Losses can be the death of person or pet you care about. Grief can manifest in other ways - the loss of an ability or body part due to surgery. Loss also impacts us with moves to a new home, job or city. Loss affects us differently at all ages and stages of life. Anticipatory loss can impact family and professional caregivers. Tama supports people who are living with losses including: disabilities, cancer, amputations, people with ALS, and other terminal or chronic diagnoses. She also supports those exploring options including funeral planning, celebrations, those who want to talk about choices at end of life, and more. It can be so helpful to have a confidential private space to explore your thoughts.
Many individuals carry symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger. Help is available to navigate the healing process.
